A Quiet Beginning
Hi.
I’m glad you’re here.
I’ve been thinking for a while about starting this blog.
Not as a place to publish perfect thoughts or polished essays, but as a space to write slowly.
Simply. From where I am.
Most of what I create lives in images and sound.
But some things want to come out in words.
So this is a beginning.
A quiet one.
Over the past few years, I’ve chosen to live more slowly.
Not because it was trendy. Not because I had a perfect plan. But because I needed it.
Prefer to listen or watch?
If you prefer to watch or listen, I reflect on slowing down in the first episode of Slow Talks, right here:
I had filled my life with movement and noise. Good things, even meaningful things.
But at some point it felt like it all blurred together. I stopped noticing how I felt.
I stopped being present. And I missed things I didn’t want to miss.
So I began walking more.
Breathing deeper.
Paying attention.
That simple shift. from rushing to noticing, changed the way I live.
Slow living isn’t about doing nothing.
It’s about doing one thing at a time. Fully.
It’s about being where you are, instead of always trying to get somewhere else.
For me, it brought clarity.
It brought breath.
It brought me back to myself.
Maybe you need that too.
Maybe not all the time, but sometimes.
A pause. A walk. A moment without the pressure to be somewhere else.
If something in here speaks to you, I’m grateful.
If not, that’s okay too.
Thanks for stopping by.
